These bowls originate from a region in India where very little wood is available, and so the local people instead turn to more readily available materials. This beautiful stone bowl would have been carved to serve supper, and they are often sourced still sporting signs of their last meal.
Now, they make exceptional table centrepieces and compact fruit bowls. We just adore the character engrained in these modest stone pieces.
